This is our second time at Villa Staudt. Stayed here about 4 years ago and enjoyed ourselves. This visit, we booked on the website direct.

The Villa is gorgeous and the rooms are beautiful. We booked a room with a balcony and sea view with a very nice view of the promenade and pier. Location can not be beat. Right on the promenade and 5 min walk to the beach and pier.

We like the kitchen and bathroom pods but understand some people don’t approve. The bathrooms are definitely not luxury but I find are comfortable and works for our needs. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Check-in was relatively easy, though I will mention, they do not have anyone directly onsite. Communication is via email and text. Some times takes a bit for responses which is not ideal for a higher standard accommodation.

The only negatives I have to comment on are it would be very nice to have introductory supply of coffee, tea and sugar. This pretty much comes with every standard hotel in North America, and for the cost of this accommodation, this absolutely should be supplied. Option for bike rental would also be awesome, but not a necessity. The outdoor water spout to clean your feet after the beach was not working, which was slightly inconvenient, but we found another outdoor spout that was working.

Overall, we again enjoyed our stay and will likely stay again and would recommend. Missed 5/5 for reasons above.

It was our first time traveling with our dog, so we stayed in the annex – and everything worked out perfectly there too. Even our buddy was very well prepared, which we especially appreciated. We do have two minor points to mention, though: due to the building's construction, the apartment is a bit noisy, particularly when the apartment above is also occupied. Also, there's unfortunately no way to secure the front door so that a dog who knows how to use door handles can't open it from the inside. Nevertheless, we had another wonderful holiday and would love to come back again! We would definitely book apartment number 15 again :-)
