Your Temporary Home in Ahlbeck – Three Houses

Those who winter with OSTKÜSTE stay in one of three houses in the seaside resort of Ahlbeck. All centrally located, all within walking distance of the promenade, the beach, and the restaurants that are also open in winter.

The price depends on the apartment size – not the house. You pay a flat rate for the entire season, divided into monthly installments.

All prices are for two people included, for the entire period from November 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027. Final cleaning is included; only the visitor’s tax is added. Lofts are available in all three houses, apartments with one or two bedrooms in the Kaiser Karl Apartments and Nadler Hof.

Usedom in Winter – and Early Spring in March

Anyone who only knows Usedom from summer only knows half the island. In winter, the seaside resort becomes a place again: the promenade in Ahlbeck belongs to walkers and dogs, the pier is shrouded in fog, and on some mornings the beach is actually empty – 42 kilometers of fine sand.

The island is not closed, however: the imperial spas of Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, and Bansin remain lively all year round – bakeries, supermarkets, doctors, restaurants, the Ostsee-Therme, the cinema in Heringsdorf. And Usedom is Germany’s sunniest region, even in January.

From the end of February, the days get longer, and the beginning of spring on March 20 still falls right in the middle of the season: first chairs in front of the cafés, blooming front gardens in the imperial spas, more life on the beach – but still far from crowded. Those who winter here get both: the quiet winter on the Baltic Sea and spring on Usedom.

All-Inclusive – So Living Feels Like a Vacation

Anyone staying for an entire season shouldn’t have to think about towels. That’s taken care of.

  • Weekly interim cleaning – the apartment remains in a comfortable state
  • Weekly change of towels and bed linen – without request
  • Free laundry room – washing machine, dryer, and clothes rack are available for five months
  • Wi-Fi in every apartment – plus a flat-screen TV
  • Utilities and final cleaning included – electricity, water, heating, and final cleaning are included in the flat rate

Dogs are welcome (€5 per night). Two people are included in the price; a third person costs a one-time fee of €50 for the season.

What goes unnoticed during a one-week vacation is crucial for an entire season:

  • Fully equipped kitchens – ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, cookware, and dishes. Over five months, this is the difference between accommodation and home.
  • Sleeping comfort that guests particularly highlight – double beds from 1.60 m to 1.80 m wide, good mattresses, separate bedrooms in the apartments. No point is praised more often than sleeping.
  • Space instead of cramped quarters – 42 to 98 m² living space, depending on the apartment, plus high ceilings, large windows, and bathrooms with walk-in showers. Room to arrive, not just to stay overnight.
  • Work possible – equipped upon request: ergonomic office chair, desk, and monitor can be provided if needed. Tell us in advance how you work, and the workspace will be ready upon your arrival.

How to Book Your Winter Retreat

Instead of paying the total amount in advance, you pay a down payment and then monthly – similar to a long-term rental on Usedom, but without a rental contract and deposit, furnished and with service. Example Loft: €3,090 upon booking, then four installments of €1,802.50 each.

  • Down payment: 30% of the total amount upon booking
  • Remaining balance: in four monthly installments, due on the 1st of each month (December 2026 to March 2027)
  • Cancellation: no longer possible after the down payment – please decide consciously
  • Basic occupancy: two people included
  • Additional person: one-time fee of €50 for the entire season (extra bed and linen)
  • Pet: welcome, €5 surcharge per night
  • Visitor’s tax: added – the amount depends on the purpose of your trip
